But they'll reportedly do so without their superstar tight end.

The New England Patriots tight-end's future has been subject to speculation since he admitted he was contemplating retirement after the Patriots lost the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles in February.

ESPN's Mike Reiss reported the five-time All-Pro has a $250,000 workout bonus in his contract for 2018 that he would receive in the event he attends a certain amount of his team's offseason program.

The source, however, indicated there has been communication with the Patriots and Gronkowski's camp recently. The workouts are voluntary.

Gronkowski is still reportedly considering whether he'll play in the 2018 season.

Rob Gronkowski's contract is back on the negotiating table.

Gronkowski won't be the only Patriots star not on the field Monday. In other years, Brady has been a regular participant at the team's offseason program, but he will miss at least the beginning this year.

One person who does not seem to be overly concerned by Gronkowski's future is Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who claimed the prospect of being without the two-time Super Bowl victor was nothing to be afraid of.

Gronk also appeared in all three of New England's playoff games.

Gronkowski is under contract with the Patriots through 2019.
