Zimbabwe's ruling ZANU-PF party won the most seats in parliament, official results showed Wednesday, as the count continued in the presidential race and the opposition MDC cried foul, alleging widespread fraud.
Mugabe's successor Emmerson Mnangagwa of the ruling ZANU-PF party and Nelson Chamisa of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change were the main contenders in Monday's election.

The electoral commission has warned that results of the presidential first round may not be known until Friday or even Saturday and would not be released until tallies were received from all 10,985 polling stations.
Mnangagwa has called on Zimbabweans to "desist provocative declarations and statements".
It alleges that the governing Zanu-PF party has rigged Monday's elections.
MDC Alliance's Tendai Biti said there was a clear attempt by Zanu-PF to interfere "with the people's will".
