Israeli troops shot dead two Palestinians during Friday protests at the Gaza-Israel border, the health ministry in Gaza said.

Hamas' spokesman Abdullatif al-Qanu stressed that the group's decision to join the "right to return" march showed the Hamas' alignment with Palestinian people.

According to a press release from the administration of the Rafah border crossing, an Arouri-led delegation including leading group members Mousa Abu Marzouk, Izzat al Rishq and Hussam Badran crossed the border into the Gaza Strip.

It is the 19th consecutive anti-Israel Friday protests since March 30, the first day of the ongoing Palestinian "Great March of Return" rally against Israel's 11-year crippling blockade and the US embassy move to the disputed holy city of Jerusalem.

However, an Israeli official speaking to Israel's Channel 10 cautioned that the Netanyahu government would not agree to any deal unless Hamas returns three Israeli prisoners being held in Gaza.

It was the latest in a series of protests along Gaza's perimeter fence with Israel, aimed in part at trying to break an 11-year-old border blockade.

Israel has lost tracts of farmland and forests to fires set by kites and helium balloons laden with incendiary material and flown over from Gaza.

A total of almost 3,900 people were fighting the Mendocino Complex Fire , including crews from Arizona, Washington and Alaska. Hundreds of colleagues, family and friends attended a memorial service Saturday in Fresno for National Forest Service Capt.

The strike was carried out by an IDF tank after several Palestinians infiltrated into Israel from southern Gaza, and hurled firebombs and an explosive device in the border fence area, said the Israeli army, Xinhua reported.

It said some 8,000 Gazans had participated in the protests at five locations along the border.

Israel says its naval blockade of Gaza is meant to prevent weapons from reaching militant groups.

At the same time, one Palestinian demonstrator was reported to have been killed by the Israeli military and 220 injured, many from live ammunition. The delegation is in Gaza amid high-level discussions about an Egyptian-brokered cease-fire.

Another boat was intercepted on Sunday.

They are considering a proposal to sign a long-term truce agreement between Hamas and Israel in exchange for economic prosperity and easing the siege on the Strip.

The Israeli military had no immediate comment.
